as far as ikno badges are nothing special. just an addition added a while ago. its like another way to advertise. well thats the way i looked at it. some often like to collect badges though for fun?. you can find some cool ones, u might want to grab. then you can display them. on your avatar card. its Not needed for you to have badges though or collect them. if you want u can choose to not display any badges on your profile. so who ever said that to you. they are either trolling. or just really think they are "cool" because they have alot of badges.
