IMVU is pretty over priced for what you get, you constantly have to spend money and barely can get anything in return. And if you get disabled you're out all of that money. I've found imvu getting pretty boring recently and all people seem to talk about is gifting etc

IMVU used to be a kind of revolutionary chatting site but recently it's just become boring. Really the only reasons I get on as of lately is to spend money which is an awful habit lol. I do enjoy it, however due to there being some cool people. Wish they would add a new aspect to the game or something. It definitely time for something new.

IMVU's population is going down hill, but at the same time they seem to keep a solid base and a steady stream of new users coming in. Dying ... perhaps, but if they are ... it is an extremely slow death with a high chance of recovery.

I think the loyal base combined with the mobile community who find IMVU via the app stores though ... are keeping IMVU alive.

I don't see it dying anytime soon. What might be happening is that people we knew back then don't log in anymore, so IMVU (to us) looks a little dead without our old friends being there. Not to mention the new people coming in. The 5~10 years acc people aren't really sociable most of the time either, sticking to a small number of rooms, usually old and where new people don't go as much.

There are exceptions, of course.

Imvu is bleeding with members that are leaving the game. Imvu plays a big role in this matter, so much banning and bossing around is one of the things people are triggered with. Also Imvu is not fair on a lot of places. They keep showing rich creators products in top pages for months and not giving others a chance. You can never got a full information about products that includes brands. You can find thousands of products with Nike-Adidas logo on them and people wont get banned, then one day they will ban you without any notice. My main account got banned 16 times, because I am a traveler. Every time I travel and log in from a different hotel, city, state, country, my account gets disabled. It is not hard to get it reopen it but this is very annoying. They told me that they gave me a notice with message, I asked them if my account is disabled, how am I going to see the message and warn you guys, got my case closed without an answer.

After all I am grateful to Imvu for giving a lot of people jobs and make talented people earn some money. If you are a successful creator I suggest you keep going ahead and trust Imvu and follow its rules. Who knows, one day you can make some good money.

It's boring most of the time. There's nothing new to do on it, well I guess because its a chat client
not much to do anyways than just meet new people and talk. Or create products and making DPs for money.
But IMVU will never die, they make enough income. If IMVU wasn't so simple I believe more people from IMVU
would leave for different platform like Secondlife because there's more freedom and things to do on it
but it's to complicated for some people.

hope they will not do the same to windows platform they will loose all the core community ( pc user ), imvu mobile user it's mostly ppl that stay in the game ~1 to 3 month

It says there it will... so... I hope all the desktop current client features get ported. Next and mobile are lacky on that.
