There's a room that I used to go to where the regulars all joined some voice app while running imvu. I guess if you really wanted to, u could put a discount link or some other voice app link in room description. Anyone who joined the room and wanted to voice could just join.

i remember all this and it's just a case of imvu streaming lining it and making it more family friendly at the cost of screw the real hard core users. just like when they got rid of the resellers to gain complete control of creds and devs on imvu they claimed that the irs made them do it . till the IRS called them on it and told them that they had no plan for the near future to do anything about the resellers then imvu had to admit in a post that went poff rather quickly that they did simply for the money and control and if you didn't like it to bad. i remember going without creds or doing ads or anything for over 8 months in protest. over it

I started in 2008, there was no geolocation stuff on the client then, I do remember voice chat and the ability to switch an avatar off on your client if they were annoying, that and other stuff withered on the vine. Shame they didn't sort out the many and various bugs in the client before they they tried to develop new features, many of which are like the doctor who develops cures for which there are no known diseases. Bless thier delusional hearts.

I removed the tracking code from the my IMVULIte/T3De clients. They also both have the mute functionality you're talking about that lets you hide avatars you don't like.

funny enough, the idea of pokemon go was seen as april fool joke but then turned into a reality. this mystery patent was applied for long ago and looks to be expirin' soon and the only thing i see close to showin' the geographical location of users is the people search.

they need to get a better system to protect ppl from stalkers and harassers for starters, and even then i dont need em trackin' me :kat_emoji13:
