Some people have been asking about the case number. It is 1-11-CV-193767 (California Superior Court, Santa Clara County).

It sounds wrong just cause it is wrong.

Also IMVU is not offering any help to account with Guest_ tag on them, but mostly only responds to VIP users or users that have their names bough, so if your banned and want to complain you kinda need to buy VIP to have any chance in getting responds. Also i have heard of someone buying VIP again and being banned again for complaining... tho im not sure about it.

But they should refund the credits since people have paid for the stuff or spent their time in getting them for free and they just take it away, while talking shit that they wouldn't. HEADS UP PEOPLE!!! I am a rather large music dever and have been trying to retrieve all of my info from Developer Income Events. If I place a time period for example........From Jan-1-2008 to Jun-1-2008 and update it, my income for these sales would be (example) 140,000 credits. BUT NOW if I place a shorter time frame From Jan -1- 2008 to April -1- 2008 I get a higher reading income (example) 200,000 credits. Are they Hiding sales? Can Someone else try this and let me know please? Ive tried multiple times and get these readings from all different dates. Thank you

You should never try to retrieve more than a month of sales at a time.
Getting sales reports is really hard work on the IMVU servers.
Simply putting it, if you request too large of a time frame, it starts skipping stuff in order to prevent you from bogging down the server.

So wait a minute.. Since i don't live in the states... are my posts here completely useless? I'm loosing less then 100$ from the imvu music change, (and it's not even worth me investing into Tunecore's imvu music store songs cause i just found out that they all have expiry dates we don't know about ).. Is this court case trying to get IMVU to refund EVERYBODY they screwed over with the music items? Or just the clients you are representing as individuals? and if you win, only your clients are going to get their refunds?

Dude, i got banned from the imvu forums for posting up the link to this lawsuit thread because this site sells black market stuff O.O i seriously had no fuckin idea ahahaha.. now that i know this place is that dirty.. i am free to talk like a mother fuckin trucker lol anyways.. Could you please um... have a link with this subject in, of which you can read yourself and contact the people in it that want to talk to you, so that i can post it in imvu? i dunno, maybe we can create a group in imvu of which people are free to join and you can check up on regularly. That way i can pass around the group's link in other groups and forums in imvu and still be abiding by all of imvu's ever so complicated rules... wait.. im not even sure if we're allowed to post links at all in the forums even if they are links to places within imvu... man.. i hate the internet >,< im such a technoob >,< .... i'll learn.. surely.. eh

To my knowledge, yes, one of the things the lawsuit is asking for is refunds for all customers.
To my knowledge, in a few months, they are going to be told weather the case can go on for everyone or just individuals. It all depends on how much support Todd Kennedy, the lawyer, can get.

To be exact, this site does not sell black market stuff. Our site has a classifieds section where our members can sell just about anything they want. It is our members who are selling black market stuff. Also, yes, you can talk as dirty as you want. When we set up this site, we made sure that by law we could post everything from smut to just plan porn on these servers. You know what the funning thing is? Our site has been visited / approved by IMVU staff members twice in the past 4 years. Really though, with all of the bots and cheats we make for IMVU, I would think our classifieds section would be the last thing for them to worry about.

The subject of "Law" is against the rules on the IMVU forums. Many threads have been made about this on the IMVU forums, and IMVU keeps deleting them because the threads deal with Law (weather the threads link to this site or not). As for IMVU groups, there are about 5 of them, but all of them are telling people to go here. I have a feeling though, if we made an IMVU group for this lawsuit, IMVU inc would just delete the group. The entire reason people are coming to this site to publicly discuss the lawsuit, is because we are known as the place to go when it comes to activities against IMVU's TOS. You are free to make an IMVU Mafias group if you want: clubs.php (we do our best to acomidate)

I'm freaking angry because I have lost over 5000 music rings... I mean it all sums up from I came here... wait... that was the main reason why I became mafia ~_~ those bastard stole all my 99cr music and didnt re emburst me! then they freaking disabled the creator... bump the prices up then after 4 years they start doing the whole 20sec thingy that sounds like 10sec and 5 at times! I am appauled by the actions of IMVU for a long while now..They have cause us(Adults) to resort the the actions of children. It is so unfair and stupid that they(imvu) have allowed and approved many products in the catalog in the past, only to have them taken away from us for thier(TOS)which who knows when they get the urge to change it at will! We have spent huge amounts of money on credits to purchase items, that the develpoers has created ..themselve , NOT IMVU..but who get's to profit largely..not the developers..ut IMVU. I have been a member since 5/16/07..and The money I have spent on there is ridiculous when I look back..I could have bought houses, and several cars! I have had so many items removed from my inventory by them due to the fantom(TOS) it is insane..they allow teens to join the site then punish us adults because we are not user friendly to the teens..I feel they should reinstate all of the items they have removed in the past, to us adults and with the millions of dollars they have pimped from users and developrs, and keep this site which we have enjoyed for many years, and create an IMVU teens site for them..stop the BS...I am 44 years old and am quite sick of the crap. I have purchased so much music from the catalog that I could have bought a music store of my own in real life! And gradualy they take them away from us then now to the extreme and cut them to 20 seconds...Outrageous!! Give us and the developers back our money for each and every song we have purchased..they can truly afford it! they have become super rich off of people like us and it is wrong to do the things that they do..I and many friends have just wanted to delete our acct. but feel trapped because of the huge amounts of time and money, as well as friendships we have aquired over the years...I know I have gone on, and on..but I am FURIOUS!!! IMVU SHOULD BE STOPPED, and made held accountable for thier actions!!!!

I"ve been with IMVU for over a year and have spent well over a grand on creds. Including creds to purchase trigger music.. a refund would be really nice.
