Hi guys,my question is how can i edit an AP Product file and making it from Access Pass Only to General Audience?
Or where can i learning this thing? I know that some of you know how to do it,but what software you use to edit the chkn files to remove that access pass and adding general audience.

Because i have an ap product and i tryed to upload on my non ap account (i have an ap account too) but i want to product on my non ap account,so i want to make ot uploadable to non ap,how can i do that? where to learn how to edit this?

If you can not change an AP product to GA, it is because the CHKN is derived from a product that is AP.
Rip the parent product and submit the parent's chkn instead.

If that does not work, it is because the parent is also derived from an AP product.
In this case you need to rip the parent of the parent and submit the chkn of the parent of the parent.

If that does not work, it is because the parent of the parent is also derived from an AP product.
In this case you need to rip the parent of the parent of the parent and submit the chkn of the parent of the parent of the parent.

If that does not work ... you get the idea. Keep moving down the derive tree till you find something that is GA.

IF in the end, you finally get to a CHKN that is derived from a GA product and it looks nothing like the product you wanted .... then you need to collect all of the product resources from each product in the derive tree you followed and use the resources to completely rebuild the product from scratch. You can use the original broken AP CHKN as a template ... just copy each setting one at a time.

Welcome. I understand your frustration. Many products have I had to trace and rebuild ... UFI products lost in time and burred under client updates to the point they are nothing but rubbish.

Rebuilding a chkn is not at all has hard as it sounds though. At least not with normal products. You normally just have to cut/paste a few lines. However, some of the stuff Don Von makes is a lot more advanced and time consuming. But that's what makes them easier to smuggle past CS.

Which chkn files are editable? The ones i see are encrypted.

Did you unzip the chkn? By unzipping the chkn, you gain access to additional files.

Also, any file can be either encrypted or rebuilt from scratch.

Yes, ive unzipped the chkn. I am able to edit these files: xml, json, png, jpg. The xrf looks all gibberish like this

as long as what he needs is ga rated couldnt he just ask imvu to re rate it by sending a help ticket? thats at least what ive heard before.
