anyone remember this game? i think the number your posed to reach is 99 could be wrong but its a 2 player game and you take turns calling out numbers from 1 to 10 and you add them up each time a number is called out but you want to pick the right numbers or else the other person will win. my principal used to play it with us and he always won because he knew which numbers he needed to reach each time it was his turn so he won no matter what.

Something like this?

Here is a grid of four "boxes":

Square divided into four.

You must choose four different digits from 1−9 and put one in each box. For example:

This gives four two-digit numbers:
52 (reading along the 1st row)
19 (reading along the 2nd row)
51 (reading down the left hand column)
29 (reading down the right hand column)

In this case their sum is 151.

Your challenge is to find four different digits that give four two-digit numbers which add to a total of 100.

Something like that?

no it was just something you do on paper or dry erase board. when i can ever figure out the name of it ill let you know. its all done by addition.

so you'd call out 2, he'd call out 3, then you'd have to add them together and call out 5?

That sounds stupid.

And no, I think we could all come up with a different answer for this guys game, might be something his teacher invented.

He should like, teach it or something.
