It's a false positive, disable your antivirus.

I did not know I had to disable my anti-virus before downloading, tried downloading and it failed. Is there a way I can get my Medits back?

I downloaded it on Windows 10 but it is not letting me open it, it says Windows has denied access. What do I do now?

maybe need to set compatibility first for that, right click on it and set the compatibility to lower version and run as admin

Send me a screenshot of the message you get when it's blocked. I have a feeling it's SmartScreen doing it which can be ignored.
