Like people mentioned earlier, the VIP tiers are a money grab and only for IMVU mobile clients. I'm not sure what IMVU's plans are for the future but it's definitely not going to be geared towards older/PC users. I'm still trying to come to terms with the fact that I'm paying the same price for less. Chatrooms are my bread and butter as a furniture/room mesher and they limited it to 5 chatrooms for platinum tier holders. Showcasing my rooms is how I make my sales, and I'm definitely to NOT going to be purchasing chatroom slots. The tier benefits are pointless for users who still use client truly. Disappointed but not surprised.

I think after this yr it will be gone.So i'm hoping there programer is working on some changes but I don't think so. It took him 5 yrs or more to write this new program that there putting out now. So we will see what takes place.


I agree 100%……been with imvu for more than 10 years….they should have just left the vip same as it was before…..this is all money making for imvu…..not to benefit its users….even the client versions and imvu studio….it has its benefits but they should have just stayed the same and had just upgraded there system…..they are trying to force people to use imvu studio and desktop and mobile…..but most users use the classic client which is the old client…….sad but there is nothing we can do…..stay safe everyone….

Speaking of the new vip has anyone noticed this on the recent promo for vip? Why would they give the credits a week later and not immediately with your purchase like theyre used to? Image

Baby doing the most honestly. 20 bucks a month and your services only work partially on mobile and only part-time like I'm paying 20 bucks so I can use the media player to play music on mobile why can't I work in a private or public as well as live I don't understand. They're quite a few things that I wish our team wasn't so busy that I could do q&a time with ideas and sit without feeling like I'm taking up too much of their time trying to understand what is above my pay grade lol. Now they've added ads in the beginning when you go in the room that many people are uninstalling over real quick, it literally causes you to lag out before you ever even see the room or people who aren't familiar with that or used to it yet kick you for not speaking when you come in it's ridiculous. Why would it start the ad right after the room loads in I don't know if she did before it shows you entering the room I would think during the room load. Better believe that I am almost ignorantly almost LOL not one to try to hide who I am or what I'm about I get in their face and I scream and shout I say shit that she get me in trouble and I acknowledge it while I'm doing it even I don't mind taking a Gamble for the right cause for the right reasons that's what an activist is after all. Since they're update where they put the ads in they took the navigation revert option away they took the limited 3D feature away and one of my devices poor thing is running 8.1.0 Oreo which is no longer supported and all my apps are starting to fail on it so now I'm using it mostly for web browser shit like this right now as we speak per se. I tell them off including threats in their feedback when I get a crash report feedback option I give them shitty feedback whenever they ask me for feedback on the app almost every time and I'm constantly updating my Google reviews and I have more than one account so they get hit because that's what I do I'm a non-profit who likes to support what he believes in and no cost just rarely get in recognition unfortunately there's a reason I do it nonprofit because I can't guarantee the out come or the profit from it...

I love it because on their review responses on Google Play they're telling everybody the reason they've added the ads is because they're trying to offer a free app.. I'm sorry last time I checked I wasn't paying to use the app except for wanting the extra stuff so how is it not a free app currently? I told them straight up it's not trying to offer a free service it's trying to be greedy and get more from your free service and it needs to stop because I personally spend stupid amount of money on this app every month for them to just keep fucking me over fingers crossed I got that solved finally between age verified AP VIP it shouldn't be a whole lot they can hit me for at this point I hope because the reason my other accounts got put on hold was cuz I could not send an ID in to get them unlocked for suspicious transactions bullshit or being associated with an account I've never fucking even met.

They're really just trying to push the VIP because they offer ad free if you purchase the big package stupid it is ruining your loading ability on your app all so you can make a couple of bucks here and there more on top of my 20 bucks a month all right whatever.

Its really ashame IMVU dont take care of their veteran players. There trying to cater to all these new kids coming in and they tell me strait up they hate IMVU. When I 1st started greeting I seen how happy and they were and the gratitude they had for gifts I sent them thru IMVU and now nothing but how disappointed they are in the site and its there 1st day or couple of weeks now. I dont want to lose imvu as a game site so I just wish they listen to the players in what we want and what works best for us over all. Really sucks when all someone see's is dollars signs and they go under and never able to pull themself up again.

That's so true. I just came back to the game after being pissed about losing my account that I spent hundreds of dollars on and every new player I see is mostly a veteran player that has already spent lots of money for upgrades and credits. The very few real new players that I see are either a few days or weeks old and haven't really gotten to experience imvus greedy culture so they're still trying to get the most out of it before they're asked to spend their hard earned money on credits and upgrades. And honestly I saw myself falling for the same trap as I just bought 1k credits to finish an outfit I was making when I could've waited for the login gifts since my account is brand new. Not to mention that they mention nothing about added VAT for european countries... I ended up paying 1 euro and 50 cents for credits that were supposed to be about 65 to 70 cents only. Ik thats not imvus fault but they should mention it before players start spending all their money.

Im really sorry you are being treated like that shy. You know its everyone across the board that are being treated like that. Even the veteran players who work for imvu free or so called free. They may get a few gifts or credits here and there but nevertheless they are getting the creap like the rest of us. I think the only ones not are the ones behind the scenes because they know how to get in there and twirk codes to get there account working right. no need to mess with the rest of us. we can just wait it out till they fix all the updates and see where all the loop holes are at. and if its still not a big problem to them it just wont get fixed. What I find really strange is how does IMVU work with so many accounts working on different software but yet all on the same site?? I am one that end up with a crap software i been on imvu to fix and they wont. This been going on for yrs now. This is just a taste of what IMVU support gives me...

Please also check how your computer is connected to the internet. In the event that is connected via WiFi, please directly connect it to your modem via network cable. Please also check if IMVU is included in the exclusions list for your firewall. If it is not listed, please manually add it.

I told them today How do they think Im talking to them if I dont have an internet connection. I cant stand talking to trained IMVU support idiots. ( They trained to be an idiot and get paid for it.)

That's horrible! The only time I received support as bad as that was in 2017 when my client just simply stopped working. It would let me log in then nothing, it wouldn't even open to the main page. I spent countless of hours in the vip support chat (mind you i had a quarterly vip subscription and kept buying credits every other day) trying to get them to fix this issue with no help so I gave up and got it to work by myself. It seems like they never cared in the first place and just wanted as much money as possible.

I think whisper should be free as well but if you want to talk shit with your friends in private you can literally just send messages to eacher on imvu or discord or something. As for the discount it really isn't a whole lot for singular items but when you're buying lots of outfits then I think it helps save some credits. If they want more people to spend 20 dollars on vip they should increase the sale they give in that tier to like 10% instead of 5%
