Haha! What's up Mafia Fam! Thought I'd share a little meme to sum up my RP experience during this weekend.
I'm not entirely sure when it happened but it seems that IMVU has did a stealth roll out for a newly improved chat censoring tool that blocks certain words. Depending on which colorful language you use you will receive an 'admin message' that looks like this:
As you can see Pussy, Dick, and Vagina are all naughty words. 'Titty' and 'Boobs' are also off limits ( . Y . ) Luckily for us this censorship only reaches the public chatrooms. You are free to use whatever language in your private rooms.
To be very frank I'm not surprised with this and it was only a matter of time before IMVU started censoring what we say. If this is a solution to fix 'cyberbullying' then they are poorly mistaken. The cases of bullying I have seen on IMVU have extended beyond the platform and has tormented the individual through other social media applications. Not only that, but there has been an uptick in IMVU Next Feed posts' that feature other user's nudes with very berating comments following behind. Given the new demographics of the IMVU these nudes range from very grown adults to unfortunately minors as well.
