Hello,

Firstly I'm posting from a new account as I have no idea what my old login details were. I don't remember what email I used. I might have an idea about the username but I haven't logged into that account in many years.

is there any way to recover it or has it probably been deleted for inactivity?

Secondly,

So basically I have 2 ex-creator accounts and they earn 2-5M credits per year. I want to cash out from imvu as everyone I know has pretty much moved over to SL. my mistake was leaving the earning at 100% to credits(which I have changed to cash now). I have over 8 million in 2 accounts. is it safe for me to trade buy stickers and items on those accounts priced at ridiculous amounts(50-500k profit) after changing the settings to earn 100% cash instead of credits? or will this result in a ban? has anyone tried to do anything like this or does someone know of a better way to do something like this?

Please any help would be much appreciated.

Edit:
sorry in advance in case I have posted in the wrong place.

Thanks

If you still own the device you used back then, you can check your browser's autofill data for past used email addresses and usernames. Maybe login to other accounts on other websites you were using around the same time, and check what email addresses they are using.

IMVU tracks stickers worth over 99k, as well as high value products that are purchased multiple times by the same account or by accounts owned by the same person / related people. If they detect either, then they will ban the accounts for selling credits. You pretty much have to sell them off in smaller amounts and never re-use the same product. That or sell a gifting service, where you gift people off of their wishlists.

Unfortunately, I no longer have access to that hard drive. that was about 2-3 laptops ago. I think I might have an idea what the username and email might have been. I will try to see if I can recover it if not I am fine with a new account as well lol

Thanks a ton for the info. I will probably go with the gifting idea and keep stickers to smaller amounts 90k and below and for one-time use only.
As for items rooms or clothing or anything else is it the same limit of 99k? or does it have a smaller limit?

@Aeksia

Sellers have reported to me that they have an easier time with rooms and clothing, but that those give less profit because IMVU taxes those types of products more. I do not know the exact limits for rooms and clothing.

I can offer you some general advice that might help.

Recovering an old account: If you don't remember the email or login details for your old IMVU accounts, the best course of action would be to reach out to IMVU's customer support. They can guide you through the process of recovering or accessing your old accounts, provided you can provide them with any relevant information or proof of ownership.

Cashing out and trading items: IMVU's policies and terms of service can change over time, so it's important to review them for the most up-to-date information. Trading items and making profits within the game is generally allowed, but engaging in activities that violate IMVU's policies, such as scamming or exploiting glitches, can result in consequences like warnings or bans. It's advisable to trade and engage in in-game activities within the bounds of IMVU's rules.

Seeking advice and experiences: While I don't have specific information on whether others have tried a similar approach, you could try reaching out to IMVU's community forums or social media channels. Other users may have insights or experiences they can share with you.
