will vu pull the plug on classic client?

I haven't went too in depth of reading the thread but I do know eventually the client will shut down. There are far too many implementations and steps that IMVU is taking that is more geared towards the mobile side of things. IMVU Studio Beta, the Next app, and the web browser styled client are just many indications of IMVUs future plans. To be honest, it's really a slap in the face to the users who have made IMVU what it is. The creators who put countless hours and progress into creating and shop and instead of IMVU updating the classic client creator tab, they say F*** it and make a whole new program. At this point, once the client goes, so do I.

The creator studio program will be cool once they get all the bugs worked out. I'll give them credit for not abandoning the classic client and forcing us to use it in its current state.

honestly i hope it doesnt go thru cause i like the client on pc i dont care fo rthe mobile and the imvu next beta jus doesnt cut it for me.

Oh I'm off VU if they drop the classic client for sure. I only ever use Mobile to check msgs. Hopefully they listen to the public (yeah hopefully....) and move in the right direction.

im sure vu will see a huge drop in users when they do eventually shut down classic client. mobile users wont stay long enough to keep vu running since its mainly ipad kids begging for credits and gifts XD but yeah honestly mobile is only good for messaging and posting memes lol

amen . almost everyone i know would stop using . Me included. messages and surveys is only reason i use mobile

It's nice that they're focusing on the next generation of imvu but to be quite honest I don't like it one bit. Call it unwillingness to change but I never liked how Next functions ever since it was introduced. It always feels like half assed. Sure over the years it's been refined but it still has a long way to go if it wants to be a replacement to the classic client, given that the classic client has been in development ever since the beginning of imvu.

I also tried using the new imvu creator studio and while it seems good enough for new creators and creators who want to bring their products into imvu next with the new graphics it definitely has a learning curve and I personally prefer on using the classic create mode.

I am with you on this…..imvu’s changes are merely for there own benifits not for its consumers ……i dont use the new create too….i will stay with classics till it face out…..i just use it for experiments and some added know how so as to answer some questions from friends..…..i don't think classic would go in the near future but who knows……i just hope it stays….
