any bright idea allowing us to break into imvu option for friends only room?

Im sure its possible but being its a VIP option your account would flag there system and risk getting banned. If you remember when everyone was using the whisper addon without the need of VIP, everyone who used it got a auto warning msg from IMVU.

It might be possible but we wouldn't release it publicly if we found away around it. We'd have to teach people how to h4c|< the client and that is just something we won't do.

You'd get caught to easily anyway. If you go into someone's room who has it set to friends only, it would be pretty easy to tell who's a friend and who's not.

If you knew the room ID, you might be able to trigger a room join.

The above is code for joining a room. Notice that the end of the code has a number. That number is the room's ID number. If you know the room's ID number, then you can use that code to join it. Just enter the code with the room ID into your browser's URL bar and hit enter. Back when our site was more child friendly, back before we started selling sex products and mainly focused on free credits, we use to use this code to let minors join mafia parties in rooms owned by adult accounts. :pinkgrin:

Some of our allied mafias still use the code for that exact purpose.

that's excellent information. i stored that in my file.

i could have used this just last week. and the person wouldnt have minded either.

You would have to find the room's ID leaking out of IMVU's api's or scripts somewhere. A treasure hunt. Perhaps there is a pattern in the room ID that can be cracked; not sure.

I did some pattern matching, it looks like the room ID is made up of two numbers with a dash in between.

Example: 27164329-204

The first number is the user identification number of the room owner. The second number is how many private chats they have had in the past.

The first number is easy to get. The second number you might have to brute force, guess incrementally starting at 1.
