How to appear offline

Seems like mobile users can see pc client users online even when they are on DND. On the other hand, pc client users can see mobile users online even when their online status is turned off. I believe this is called fair. LOL.

Mobile users can see offline mobile users, actually. I never saw mobile or client users appearing "offline" in my friend list while on the client side.

Haha sounds like imvu is messing up the online status and it is getting more and more incompatible between mobile and client users. I have difficulty to see mobile users in the correct spot lately when I am using the client.

So I don't know if I am just ignorant or not. But is there anything else I have to do then just set it on DND or do I have to wait a certain time after loginning in for it to take effect? I use to be able to appear offline and such but forget how I did it. But now when I do set it on dnd. I still appear online and such and wont go offline at all. I am getting tired of thousand of invites and such. So want to just stay on offline mode for awhile.

Sometimes you have to log out and log back in before it will take affect.

I guess I will have to give it a try and mess around with it more. I won't lie. I have tried logging in and out. Even keeping myself on dnd. But it did not seem to work. I don't know if it just glitchy and works at times or not. Who knows. Thanks for telling my about that Don.

When you turn the dnd on, if you check your profile yourself in the client you'll still see it as "online". But you actually aren't showing up as online.

there is a switch to turn online off...thru the imvunext page. don't know if it is foolproof or not tho.

Yeah unfortunately it isn't foolproof. I did include that when I was testing.
