So how does it work?

-The Shared Room feature is available to all of our community members irrespective of age or account status (VIP/AP?Guest etc).
-The Shared Room feature is available for $14.99 from our Credit Store
-Once you purchase it, you can invite anyone from your friend's list to partner with you.
-Once they accept, the new "Shared Room" button in the 3D Chat client will be unlocked.
-The Shared Room package comes with a fully furnished starter room, however, you can use any of your own rooms to share.
-The package also comes with a animated badge that you can decorate your profile card with.
-If you want to share with more friends, simply buy more Shared Room packages.

FAQs: (Will be updated as needed)

1) Do both partners need to be on 495.4 or above to share a room?

You can buy and invite anyone, however, in order to actually share and decorate the room, partners must be on client version 495.4 or up.

2) Can I share a room with more than one person at the same time?

No

3) Can I buy a room, share it with one person, stop sharing with that person and use that same package to share it with someone else?

No. One package purchase may be used for sharing a room with one person.

4) What does the Shared Room package include?

Ability to share - manage/decorate together - a room with a friend
Ability to make a shared room public using one of your slots
Ability to use furniture or rooms from both collections to decorate the room
An animated badge for your profile card (you can display it like any other badges you get)

5) Who can I invite to share a room?

Anyone as long as they are on your friend's list.

6) Can I share two separate rooms with two separate partners at the same time?

Yes. Example: Varsha buys a Shared Room Package and shares it with Katiemarie. She then buys another package and shares a room with DarkAngel5. She can also be invited to share a room by Mommajack using a package purchased by Mommajack. So at the same time, Varsha could be a partner in three separate shared rooms.

7) Can I stop sharing a room?

Yes. Either partner can stop sharing a room without prior consent of the other partner.

8 ) Where can I see all my shared rooms?

There is a single page where you can buy Shared Rooms, see the list of all the rooms you are sharing as well as check Invite status and/or stop sharing.

9) Can same two people share multiple rooms?

Yes. They can do so if they purchase multiple Shared Room packages.

10) Can either partner make the Shared Room public?

Yes - using their own public room slot.

11) Can I have the Marriage Package (Our Room) and Shared Room Package?

Yes, you can get the Marriage Package and share the Our Room feature with your married partner AND get the Shared Room package to share it with the same person or another friend.

That is a good point. There should really be an option to hide some modes from the client. Either that or restructure their home mode so the buttons are all on one page...

Then again, if they let you hide it then they couldn't dangle it in front of your face hoping that eventually you'd buy it.

EDIT: I could hide the modes for you if you wanted me to modify your client. However, you'd have to get it modified every time you update and it would also be considered a "h4c|<7d" client.

My friend and i jumped into the shred room cause it was on sale. lol. a cheezy lil place in bright orange. oh well. We cant take out any of the furniture, cant move it. What good is it? So we opened our own club we were decorating in place of the room they gave. Now mind you I am not the one who paid for it , therefore I dont have the room they gave if I wanted to go back to it. that's not right. Why shouldn't I have access to the room in my inventory as well...At least in the Wedding room they give you can replace furniture etc

Thanks

I wonder if you can choose to share the room with someone else if your partner cancels; else you just paid for nothing.

That's a good question..

Also, I would like to add this note. If u do decide to share a room with someone, be sure u and that person are not prone to getting on each others nerves ..lol. bc once u buy the room and they accept, if u and they have a disagreement and one unfriends/blocks the other then u both lose the room. now the person that actually paid for the shared room gets to keep the room but not the shared area so u loose the money. my ex gf and I got into a really bad disagreement and I waned her before sending her the link that if we cant get along about something that before blocking to talk it out bc this was spending money. so for a while we got along great, even when we didn't see eye to eye we talked .. well she is a French Canadian and loves that block button I tell ya, anyways the longer the disagreement went on the madder she got, finally she told me one morning that I needed to find someone to share the room with before she blocked me. I told her that couldn't happened it didn't work that way and of course a few other choice words along with it lol, and later that day she decided to block me. and we lost the room. needless to say within 24 hours later she unblocked and we are back together. Sorry so long winded just it works out crazy that way sometimes. but bottom line be careful who u decide to share a room with atleast with the marriage package u can hide the bad and their name etc until things can cool down before deciding on divorce. with the shared package once unfriended and/or block someone looses not the products but the cash spent.
Just wanted to give ya a heads up :D

No once the partner accepts that is it. as I just finished posting. u get to keep the ughh products given whoever paid for it, but u lose the shared space and the money. no other person can share with u only the one that clicks the link unfortunately..

Well screw that. Personally I would have told my gf to hit the road. I'm not rich and I won't stand for people wasting my money like that.

hehe believe me if losing the $15 I think I spent on the room was all it took for that crazy asshat to leave good riddance lmao. actually while I miss her terribly, I don't miss the drama she seemed to always have going on and attracting. I wished her well and walked. so its all good. then I noticed about a week later I had another shared room appear mysteriously on my acct so i'm assuming she gifted it back to me so I really didn't lose out ya know? but yeah it was a bad situation all the way around. I got a thing for the French Canadians but damn they are trifflin a lot of times lmao :)
