How about a program that would Hide your Wishlist from those that are not on your friends lists..

Yes you can hide your Wishlist on your hp via account page but then if someone clicked on your profile card they can still see your WL items so a way to make it that if they are not on your friends list they cannot view your WL on your profile card.

Do tell as I want to hide my Wl on my Profile card from those that are not my friends as I have a stalker that loves to shop off my WL and go around claiming she is me on a alt..lol

Write down your wishlist in notepad instead of saving it to IMVU.

Maybe DM could make a program that acts like a wishlist and can import your account's wishlist?

This is a VERY common problem in IMVU. I think it could be a valuable program if its made.
I have heard many people in the past and recent that have other users that buy what they buy, in order to look like them and sometimes even steal their IMVU identity, by posing as them.

I have been a victim of this as well, when I was actively chatting. This one girl stole my entire look, and whatever was on my wishlist she bought it so she could stay current with what I was wearing. She got so good at knowing the things I said and my actions that she'd just attempt to usurp my identity whenever she pleased. But I digress, It started with the stalking of my wishlist.

The issue with this is the fact that the wishlist is so integrated in everything of imvu you would need to get inside the imvu server to change it and that wouldn't work . Only IMVU can change how the wishlist works . Since you can get inside the wishlist by sending you a message . The only way to pass this would be to bookmark what items you are saving for the future or by adding the links to a notepad .
I know this is for a good cause but sadly there wouldn't be anything that we can do .
You could try suggesting this on the IMVU forums but that would fal on deaf ears as i saw this suggested so many times. :kat_emoji13:

That is why we should replace it with our own system. Make it work off of our own server. Maybe integrate it with a browser add-on that replaces IMVU's "Add to Wishlist" button with one of our own. People have been forced to use IMVU's vulnerable wishlist for far too long.

@ Nikky - Oh I am not having this issue, so it doesn't effect me currently, thank goodness.

But the thought I had is to not have a wishlist at all, then the program would allow you to put links into it and then make your avatar either wishlist it and the buy it. Or something like that. Not sure but, I believe that can be done, since its just making it easier for you to something that can already be done. The program could also allow you to save lists so you could do it easier.

And the forums are bullshit now, even moreso lol, attempting anything in there is fully useless now.

It used to be better when i was active there . Now that varsha is gone i don't bother checking which is why i said it would fall on deaf ears lol .
That program sounds like it would be useful then . I don't use the wishlist but know many people that have a issue with it now .

You Know the funny thing as well about the WL is I know the girl watches my wl as one day I deleted all on it and put items that said Copycat Bitch and psycho on the shirts...I laughed as I did this I waited a couple days and bam on her profile card she wrote in her interests she is not a copy cat and that I am the bitch etc so right there busting her that she looks at my WL to gather things off of it. I had my proof she busted her own self showing how stupid she is.
