That does sound like a "grandfathered" account, no vip but creator privileges.
Yet something doesn't add up: wasn't imvu launched in 2004 ? so...that would mean the oldest accounts in existance are 16 years old ? there must be a typo in there Duke :awesome23: Wish I knew back then that I would be curious in creating in the future, it would have opened up some opportunities for myself.

I have both VIP and AP and I love them both I could not enjoy IMVU without them, but that's just me ^^

VIP mode unlocks many functions, clothes, etc. AP unlocks adult items.

I started out with AP but I don't like ads so got VIP and now don't have to deal with all the ads, but I do like the extra free credits I get as well each month for being VIP and discounts in shop.I do wish I had a grandfather account if anyone wants to give one up :) still waiting on my chance.

AP is to give you all the naked adult views and adult themed rooms. VIP gives you a few neat options but no adult content. If sex rooms and stuff like that are what you are looking for go with the AP option. Both have good points about them, I have both because they work well together. Good Luck.

Ap gives you exclusive access for adults, explicit content. Vip exclusive access in general. Between the two there are no similarities or anything that have a same
