He would like his imvu name left out of this but here is the situation:

His real life fiance was forced into being in an imvu relationship from tons of threats:

One threat: To have him *the fiance* and my friends disablement.
Has the fiance's Real life Address
He knows things about his personal life there is no way he could find out.
today he sent him an email telling him that he would western union him 200 dollars to a store he frequents near his house if he would come back online because he hasn't been online for days trying to avoid him. Now anyone would say just block him and move on, and I have said the same.
But this is ridiculous and he's literally terrified. Like this is affecting him in real life.

I have done research and I know that this behavior counts as Cyber stalking and cyber-harassment but without knowing who this person is in real life it is impossible to get them in trouble.

Would it be possible for someone to find out said persons IP address so someone can properly turn them in.

all forms of harassment have been via Email so imvu will do absolutely nothing.

I am worried for this persons life at this point because the person forcing them into a relationship sounds nuts. Please help any way you can.

If she western unions him money, then she has to give him her real name and address in order for him to pick it up. To get rid of her, start by accepting the money, copy down her info, and then use the money to file a restraining order. Do not actually meet with her though; just take the money and run. If she is in another country, outside of legal reach, then simply block her and be done with it.

Their ip address will tell you nothing about them .... it will just give you their location within a 10 mile radius and their service provider; nothing the normal police can actually use to fully / properly identify them.

Man thats crazy but yeah that would be smart to write down her information and see where she lives i hope your friend handles it right and stop the harrassment
