I know this kind of question has come up a lot before, so apologies for re-hashing it for the millionth time. I'm aware of some of the services like find.vu for showing/finding hidden or no longer available products, but I'm wondering if there's a way to reverse-dev previously purchased products from disabled/retired devs? Or a way to just outright buy those products. Note: I still have the links/PID's for most of the products.

I know this is potentially sketchy territory with intellectual property, but I should clarify:

• 1. I have purchased said products on my previous, now-banned account.
• 2. Wish to do it purely for personal use.
• 3. Wish to do so primarily for one of my (former) favourite skins.

I would also be open to paying a member of staff to do so for me, to avoid the whole 'risk' factor of that power per se, since it's said skin and maybe 4 other products at most, but primarily the skin.

You will need a derive chain ripper: buysell/product.php?product_id=801

And decompilers: buysell/product.php?product_id=1020

Rip the derive chain. Merge the CHKNs. Decompile the assets. Hash offset and texture offset the final CHKN, to prevent IMVU from detecting the duplicate product in their catalog.

Submit hidden to catalog.

To add to what Don said, I also recommend running them through the chkn cleaner as well since these are ripped products. Here's a tutorial for that How to clean a CHKN

By reverse-dev, I mean ripping the assets or such that make up the product to re-upload for my own personal use. The original devs' accounts have been gone for some time with no replacements, so it'd be the only way to get those handful of products back. Essentially re-deving them for private use.

I presume you have already ripped the skin….in addition to the above….make sure to enlarge the skin and see if it doesn't have any signature/mark on it…..you might find that some skin have some sort of mark…..like some on the feet…..some on top of the arm etc……make sure to look at it closely…..even if your intention is just to use it for personal use….it is better to be safe than sorry…...stay safe everyone.
