Beware of Mods

Just a heads up on the moderators in the forums and all. Don't trust ANY of them. They monitor accounts and trace IP's....well, they don't but IMVU does after the account is put on the watch list, whether it is for a possible h4c|< attempt to the account or if someone uses a different IP for their own account.

I recently had a run-in with one of the mods and damn near lost my dev account because a friend learned my p/w and was posting in the forums as me. Believe me, it was a stressful time.

Actually, let me restate that first paragraph. I trust only one moderator, MinWin. (her name is long and I can't spell it but you'll know).

I know, the IMVU mods like to trace spammers to see if they have multiple accounts.

Yep, and there's far too much over the shoulder watching by mods, too.

Sad little fucks, they think they are some sort of Gods, when in real life I bet they are 12 year olds hiding behind their computers. Ahahaha.

No, most of the mods are old retired ladies who stay home all day and just need something interesting to do, so they take up the mod life.

mod's life or no life things ?
a moderator is by definition someone that tries to moderate all post for Spam , scams , and ilegals actions. no more.
they can see you Ip but they can remove your post delete topics , lock topics . creat extra topics on reserved sections , but that's all. some ( what am I writhing) well the majority of them will tend to be the "police" dogs of imvu. being a mods is being an imvu dog lol. but at last imvu changes mods some times.

By the way, mods are now checking the ip's of any and all people who start a thread on the forums. If multiple accounts of different ages show up under the ip, then the accounts are getting suspended till age proof is provided. So, if you have dummy accounts of a different age, do not use them on the IMVU forums.

Age Verification for Europeans takes about 3 months.
My brother uses the same ip as me.
Meaning: if he posts in the forum we both get banned for 3 months.

Ain't IMVU fun?
