Alright, so this post is just to let people know what's going and to reassure them that things are happening...just at a slow pace.
As some of you may have seen in my other post "Site Updates viewtopic.php?f=3&t=10141", I am currently redesigning parts of the site to make them look and function better. At least the best I can.
To that end, I am studying Object Oriented Css in an effort to apply it to our site the best way I can because I noticed that a lot of our site could benefit from it. If you're not a technical person or just don't know what that means, it basically just means I can create code that can be used as building blocks to build our site in a way that is clean, reusable and easier to maintain. This should hopefully benefit both staff and members. Making the site easier to work on for staff so they can fix and make new things and making the site faster and easier to use for the members.
Unfortunately there have been some problems. As some of you may or may not know from my moving thread, I recently moved across the country. So I was unable to do much here for about a week. Thankfully that is over, however, I am still not completely done moving, atm I am staying in a motel type situation and the net here is really poor (when it's working) so I am lucky to be able to get anything done. The other problems are mostly my fault. I am not too good when it comes to designing things so it's taking me extra time to wrap my head around OOCss that I mentioned earlier.
But never fear, I am devoted to the site and I am making some progress. If all goes well tonight, I may end up having the code done that will allow me to get a lot of areas on the site mostly done.
Once I am able to eventually finish the OOCss stuff, I hope to start adding content in the forum of games and more uses for medits among many other things. I just want to get the medit shop redesigned before I start adding to it.
If anyone would like to earn a bit of credits or perhaps cash, let me know...I could use some artists with decent talent to help create some stuff for us.
Anyway, this post is probably longer than anyone will read so I'll end it here and get back to work.

Just a quick run down of things I would like to do once I get the site redesigned:
-A games section where you can bet and win medits (this is gonna be a tough project, not sure if it's possible yet)
-Redesign rank images to be more professional and awesome
-Revamp the adult section of the forums
-Add new types of items that can be purchased in the medit shop
-Create new smilies for the holidays (I probably won't make it in time for christmas
)
