Sometime in 2017, IMVU plans on allowing creators to create and sell their own 3D animated IMVU themed emoji. For those who do not know, these are what emoji look like on most sites:

IMVU emoji will be different, because your own avatar will appear within the emoji, along with the avatar of the person you are sending it to if the emoji is setup as a 2 person emoji. IMVU will be naming this new feature, "WithEmoji". According to IMVU's community team, the emoji will be usable in IMVU Next, IMVU Mobile, and iOS Messenger. Certain products (enhanced heads, skins, and hands) in the catalog will work better with this new feature than other products. A beta version of WithEmoji is already available, along with purchasable enhancements. Currently, with the beta of this feature, some products break the emoji.

Personally I don't see any value in this and I'm not entirely sure who would want to buy an emoji of someone else doing something.

But hey, if people like it then cool I guess. I wonder if they're just gonna add a section to the catalog for emojis or how that will work.

To my understanding, it is not an emoji of someone else. The emoji is modual. When you buy the emoji made by someone else, you are placed into the emoji. It is like having your own personalized set of emoji with your avatar inside of them.

the emoji thing does nothing for me :PI wudnt pay a cent for that ..but thats just me

Having a little bit better understanding of how it works I can say that I could see it being useful for couples or maybe close friends but other than that...

still i wouldn't waste a cent on them anyway.they dont know how to take more money from us and they keep doing stuff that arent worth it, another example beeing mariage package.you pay 30$ more then ap for a name change a crappy room and to link 2 acounts togheter showing eachother's acount name at profile.Same with those emojis they arent worth it.To my understanding they are for mobile version anyway so i dont really see how they would adapt that to imvu client.Plus in imvu client you can interact with the other avatars directly so i dont see why anyone would use emojis if that happens.

Imvu needs to spam shitty things too i get alot of inboxes from them daily with a ton of crappy offers that i dont even carre about or look at
if they wanted to really do something good they should make prbs legit somehow.then they would get alot of money out of something that's actualy worth paying for.But thats a thing they will never do

Agree...the features that imvu comes up with baffles me. I can understand trying to be innovative, but havent seen many of their new features catch on, if any. Disappointing when the client base continually ask that base features get repaired. Guess 2 different standards of running a company.

Will definitely like to see where worlds of avatar technology go, especially with VR sets. Can you imagine?

well ya but lets face it VR avatars, maybe other companies are closer to that then imvu.Imvu still has a damn long way to go to get to that point lol if ever.
