I don't watch anime that much but I really like death note

Yagami Light is an ace student with great prospects, who's bored out of his mind. One day he finds the "Death Note": a notebook from the realm of the Death Gods, with the power to kill people in any way he desires. With the Death Note in hand, Light decides to create his perfect world, without crime or criminals. However, when criminals start dropping dead one by one, the authorites send the legendary detective L to track down the killer, and a battle of wits, deception and logic ensues...

In all the serie you're gonna see the psychological war between light and L which is gonna stress you out as well

@Bartra

If you ever want to watch something like Death note, there's a show called Code Geass.
The main characters of both shows are remarkably similar. The only significant differences are that Lelouch, unlike Light, has more reasoning behind his actions than simple boredom and Lelouch cares about more people than just himself. If you've watched Death Note first you'll half expect Lelouch to start screaming about becoming the God of the new world.

The series themselves are quite different. Death Note is set in our world, where as Code Geass is set in an alternate universe where Britannia rules most of the world. Code Geass has bright colours, comedy and ecchi, Death Note does not. However, there really aren't many anime with characters quite like Light and Lelouch, and the similarities they share are more than enough reason for a fan of one to like the other.

Here is a synposis of the show :
In the year 2010, the Holy Empire of Britannia is establishing itself as a dominant military nation, starting with the conquest of Japan. Renamed to Area 11 after its swift defeat, Japan has seen significant resistance against these tyrants in an attempt to regain independence.

Lelouch Lamperouge, exiled prince of Britannia, unfortunately finds himself caught in a crossfire between the two nations' armed forces. He is able to escape, however, thanks to the timely appearance of a mysterious girl named C.C., who bestows upon him Geass, the "Power of Kings." Realizing the vast potential of his newfound "power of absolute obedience," Lelouch embarks upon a perilous journey as the masked vigilante known as Zero, leading a merciless onslaught against Britannia in order to get revenge once and for all.

It's one of the most known anime and definitely worth checking out :)

Coudn't agree more with that one. If you liked Death note (Light's character), you should definitely watch Code Geass. Give it a try, it's worth it.

Honestly, if you're a bloody kinda anime fan, Tokyo ghoul is pretty good, the third season just released too, it's got just the right amount of psychological thrill, blood and action. It's about a boy who gets a date with a ghoul and when she tries to eat him there's a huge accident and then somehow he gets implanted with the ghouls organ and becomes half ghoul and has to learn how to deal with not being able to eat real food and fighting with himself to not eat humans. 10/10 would definitely check it out if you haven't already.

I grew up really loving Cowboy Bebop. Although I didn't understand as much back when I was 11 to what I understand now, but I always loved the art style and the soundtrack. My favorite character is Edward and my favorite episode has to be toys in the attic.

I love anime so much and honestly I had to think a while before answering this question but i think my answer probably has to be Naruto I know it's long with 800+ episodes but honestly it is the only anime that has non - stop mind-blowing changes in events as well as great story line and sometimes even hits you in the feelings. Another reason why i think it's such a good anime is because of the amount of different personalities that each character has and showing that there are a lot of different characters the viewer always has a character they seem to relate to.

I'm gonna give you an offer you can't refuse. Watch The Irresponsible Captain Tylor. Kapeesh?

Catchy tunes, funny main character who is a total alpha male without even trying, and lots of babes + space battles, and did I mention all the babes? Oh yeah, and it certainly does not skimp on the plot ... solid mind blowing plot all the way through to the end.
