You had me at 'IMVU chat of utter lies'

Whenever I see a post like this I remember how difficult it was for me to find my own understanding of "what is my part in this crazy World called IMVU"

The truth behind this didn't come for years. It arrived in my thinking like it was always there. It was simple came in 3 parts and made perfectly good sense. The answer was simply to 1) Stop trying to project my views and ideas on to other people. Meaning if I don't lie, it doesn't mean that everyone else should not lie. 2) View others not by trying to see through them but to see them through and without judgment. Meaning just let other people do and be what they choose. Rather than trying to make them change, make a decision to accept them into your circles or not. Easy right. 3) Accept people for who they are. This doesn't mean you have to be there friend. It means reframe from Prejudgment of others because they write funny or they have a Guest account or maybe their avatar isn't as spiffy as yours is. Some people desperately have a need to reach out and touch someone. The feel embarrassed at times and they will act out aggressively. They most likely will not have the social skills you have and haven't a clue on how to fix this. If they've been trying for any amount of time chances are they have tainted feelings about IMVU. The underlying truth is most likely that they just want what we all want when we come here to share our time with others out there in the World. Whether for friendship or in an attempt to find love, It all starts with all of us being a little bit nicer, to be a little more open, think back to our nooby days, smile a little and glow in knowing you might have given someone a chance to feel accepted in this wonderful World we call IMVU.
