How to become a good mesher with Max 3Ds by Axiom on Wed Mar 11, 2015 4:58 pm
I would use this blog for some lessons about Max 3Ds, I'll add some video who can teach you the basics.

Is very important to learn how to set up the views before starting work, so don't forget:

. You should spin only on perspective view

. Never you should use just a view for work, unless you are an expert by max

. You must be accurate with polygons like when you were in school

. Always check all views while working up

SHORTCUT KEYS SUMMARY

Alt + B Set blueprint/image on the viewport

Alt + C Cut tool

G Hide or unhide the grid

1 Quickly access the Vertex mode

2 Quickly access the Edge mode

3 Quickly access the Border mode

The only way to begin to use a Max3ds is to learn to manage cube. If you dont know it then mean you started on the wrong way

Explore all modifiers, but first you should learn to turn the cube into Editable Mesh or Editable Poly

Have you ever thought to yourself, "If I could do it all over again..." ?
