I completely agree. I was all about the guy I was with, but it was incredible how much negative judgement was put on me from people for it. I think that so many today are conditioned to believe that it's the norm to lie and cheat that it's just expected, and when they come across someone who doesn't, they consider them an outcast from the norm.
