How to create a custom clothing

Hey, I want to ask How the custom designs are made and what tools you use to make it which are easier to use not some kind of complicated, with custom design my meaning is to create designer clothes cutting edges because I have seen a lowest derived product which comes in 2-3 layers I don't understand how the creators make the design from that all I know is to add texture and change its color.Have a good day

You probably need to do meshing, it's much more difficult to learn if you have no 3D software experience.

i know i have been playing with blender. and there and add on with imvu you can add in and use while you are creating. i have messed with the clothing part but i would suggest trying that

I am talking about the use of other people layered meshes which are freebies then removing those layers and adding our own designs in the form of opacity, like as we like to change a blouse design how can we make that design , if we want to add strings how may I should do that, people suggested to use gimp but whenever i made what I desire became black and reaming got white so I want to understand the steps.

i only use gimp to make a texture. i usely use paint.net for most of my editing. i haven't made clothing like that much. i know if im edit something and trying to change it using the opacity the stuff in white what you see. so i surely make what im taking then black the tuff around the outside i don't want to show and white the stuff i want to see. that was when i was messing with tattoo and rope so im guessing it should be the same.

I kinda learned how to change the color of stuffs and even got to know how to make some design but the main issue now I am getting is to fix that thing on the product, for example I made a tshirt design which cyclist wear but when I used that as opacity in a product I couldn't fit it completely it appeared in front and back but where neck part should appear it didn't, and the side parts disappeared like there wasn't anything there so I am kinda thinking there is some thingy in the way of mesh.

depending on what you are makeing sometimes if u edit things it takes thing off. i know i try to make a chair with a sign that also does a link to things and it throw a fit and removed and changed what i was uploading. but i think imvu messing up in general. maybe a new updated or something going out. not sure

I don't know much about making furniture I never tried it out lol, I mostly on mobile so there don't come much use of furniture and all, but before I thought the pixel numbers were just to show but the 256×512 that's the most basic thing to understand after understanding it I could make some designs but still yeah gimp gets a little tough in precision not for tools but the way in using, like in photoshop we can hold and drag anything at anytime without needing to do undo and there is smoothness in Adobe and precise shape making, but I can't seem to find that in gimp if gimp could have flexibility of photoshop it would have been great.
