I been on imvu for 10yrs or more
and I am wondering if it true or not that thee ways ppl on imvu can actually get others ppl IPAddress to see where there from and how and is it really true ??

Also
do you think it right for others to do that ?

Regarding the subject, I can help you, my friend.

However, I do not think that such programs may exist.

Because I think such programs will work through the server.

Since we do not know the server information, I do not think it can be a healthy program.

These are all my own thoughts.

There was a time where it was pretty easy to get IP addresses of others on IMVU.
Today, I don't think it's possible anymore. They changed how people connect to each other in the game. Everything runs through their servers.

Its not possible anymore it runs through imvu servers only possible via link grabbing

I only ask this question becuase a friend of mine was dating her and she got upst at him for having same ip address from him and a friend of hers yet one is from one state and other from another state so they broke it off
and since then that girl keeps telling me " I am going to do a IP address on ya "

Welll that is intersting for sure .................
so what im getting is
You can't get a IP address off someone else on IMVU client even when they say they can..............

IP addresses are not always 100% accurate. If two people are on the same network or virtual private network (VPN), then they can have the same IP.

IP addresses can also be spoofed in certain situations.

IP addresses are considered an inaccurate form of identification now adays. Most companies use device fingerprinting instead ... even though device fingerprinting is extremely invasive on the user's privacy.

People tend to brag like they are "hackers" all the time. Just like people falsely call themselves IMVU Staff on imvu all the time and say they'll ban your acc because they can. Don't fall for this stupidity.
