I’m creating this post because I’ve been spending a lot of time on IMVU lately—customizing my avatar, decorating my room, exploring new chat rooms, and making new friends. But let’s be real… most of the fun stuff on IMVU revolves around credits, and getting them faster has been a bit of a challenge for me.
So I wanted to reach out to the amazing IMVU community and ask:
How do YOU earn or get credits faster? Do you have tips, tricks, or methods that really work? Paid or free—I'm open to all suggestions!
I joined IMVU not too long ago, and like many new users, I was super excited to dive in. I quickly realized that dressing up your avatar and building your dream room costs a decent amount of credits. I’ve tried a few things to get credits, but progress feels pretty slow.

Hey! There are a lot of ways for that. I mean, not all the ways are fast but some of them can get you credits in the long run. First is the daily spin. It's the most common and a good source for getting that. I mean if you're lucky, the maximum you can get is 250 around I think ? Also, sometimes you can get 2 spins as well. The only drawback of spins though is, that any credits you earn in that, are basically promo credits. Promo credits are those which can not be used to gift someone or to buy the new v - coin. Apart from that, you can do your own stuff with promo credits. The second option is to buy them. I don't know the pricing though. Also, VIP's get credits on a monthly basis so you can also try to get it and test if possible. I've heard it is lesser than usually buying credits. Also, nowadays, there are also multiple surveys and ad completion on the mobile app where you can earn some credits if you're lucky enough to land on a good survey.

i believe you cannot purchase VCoin from outside the USA also the VIP gives 5,000 credits per month and there is an extra 400 and growth through the longer subscription i belive but thats incase its a Platinum VIP. Not aware of others but im sure they have different benefits aswell.

I recommend setting up a junk email just for surveys and similar if you do them. They will pass on your data and email and you'll get a ton of spam as a result.

But yeah, besides that, the daily spin and daily reward/videos are the best consistent way of getting 300-400cr every day. It's the only thing I use mobile for. (Same with SL's mobile app.)

VIP isn't a bad option if you stick it out or pay for the year. Your monthly 'income' caps at 7400cr once you max out the bonus. (Higher tiers can give up to 15k if I recall.) But I'd only recommend it if the additional features of VIP are worth it to you. I only have it for the inventory management and 5% discount. Otherwise it's far cheaper to buy credits outright in bulk. Only buy them in large sales or from resellers here, though. Ideally 45% off sales if you're buying them direct - or the rare 50% black fri/cy mon sales. I'd recommend 50k and above to get the most out of it, depending on how much you shop or use VU.
