New tos and all that, imvu updated their shit. Atleast they changed that both ppl need to be online during sending credits. You both need to be verified, and imvu set a 10k a day for reasons, because some people fall for the fake links and get h4c|<7d and all that jizz, so it's a safety measure.

I found this thread because I'm having this issue. I was unable to send credits because I had reached some limit. I didn't even know there was a limit. Is there a way to find out what the actual rules are concerning this? It seems weird to me that I'm treated like I'm breaking a rule, when I don't even know what the rules are.

They don't explicitly tell you what the rules are for obvious reasons. The only way you can see what your limit is that I know if to try sending credits to people.

In general, there is limit of 10k credits per day. Although their system is completely messed. Firstly, you have usually to wait more than just 24h to be able to send credits again.
Also sometimes, at least in my case, it happens that you have to wait 30 hours or 40 or even 2 or 3 days before you are able to send again.

I even got one weird situation where my girlfriend used my pc for 2-3 days to send credits to her sister, and I never even sent anyone credits these days. Next day when I tried to send someone credits, I was unable to do it.

So there is even possibility that IP address is included in their system to decide. It is really hard to guess.

Only thing that is sure is that you are unable to send more than 10k of credits in 24 hours. All other things are unknown and it depends from case to case.

Ok, based on this information it seems like a good strategy would be to stagger my generosity at a rate of 10k every 2 days. This is good to know.

Well, yeah. It depends. There are also some legal tricks if you have more than one account, but it is different topic.

I don't know how much info you have and how much you know about game, but there are some other suggestions in this forum that could be helpful for you like sticker method and stuff like that, where you can gift someone by buying their item from shop for example.

It all depends what do you want and what are your options.

My issue.
I have come across not being able to send creds at all, I usually sit on 200k give or take a few k.
It doesnt let me send and comes up saying i have sent or recieved to much and must wait a month or week before i send anything to other people.
Yet I do not personally send credits unless it is to some stripper im interested in

Anyone have any thoughts on how to sort it?
