How to block spam messages sent by imvu staff?

I've even tried flagging them as spam and blocking them, but IMVU staff accounts continue to annoy me every day with messages about various promotions. There used to be a few of them, now those promoting NFT and VCOIN have joined as well.

As far as I know, you unfortunately cannot do anything about it. They love to spam us all and it is annoying, but all you can do is just delete them as soon as you get them. As for IMVU Badger, I’m sure that is only when you get a badge. So that is rare unless you are actively looking for and getting badges.

I can assure you that I delete their messages without even reading them, but that's now the only activity I do most often on IMVU.

Anyway, a few years ago on my old account I had several badges, many found on Badge Directory. With the new account I didn't have the same perseverance and patience, currently I don't have any badges.

god yeah i hate those ads and pop up notifications on my phone from them, if theres a way to remove them i would love to use it!

Log in to your imvu account using your browser…..
Click account on the right top corner before sign out.
On your account page. Click change email preferences
Email settings will open up…..on subscription unchecked sales and special offer notifications…imvu updates …..imvu tips and hints etc.
Save
This will stop email communication from imvu…try it!

I was not referring to emails, in fact I have already disabled all notifications. Except for the important ones of course, since they cannot be disabled.

I'm referring instead to the private messages that IMVU Staff send all the time.

Unfortunately there are no settings to disable these kinds of messages.

Normally these messages are duplicates of the ones we receive in our email….if you disabled all those email preference…you wont receive any more messages….but you know how imvu works…..that is how they get there sales….so if you have tried my suggestion….i suppose there is no other way i know to stop those.

I've kept email notifications disabled for years, including those related to messages and friend requests. Years ago it seemed unnecessary for me to receive notifications on email as well, since most of the time I was receiving them in real time on the client.

Unfortunately, for this kind of private messages, there are no options to disable them and the desperate attempts to block profiles that send these messages haven't helped either.
