Low Memory Bypass Tool (Error Code: 8)

I've been grappling with a persistent concern for quite some time now. The main issue at hand is IMVU's Classic Client, which imposes a strict 3.5GB RAM usage limit on the application. This limitation often results in frustrating "Out of Memory" errors, even when there's an abundance of available system resources.

Is there any way or any tool that can bypass this and let IMVU Classic Client runs at more than 3.5GB RAM usage of its application?

have u tried clearing cache? if u havent i suggest u do that...best to clear it manually...

log out & close vu client, right click on imvu icon, click on open file location, double click on roaming, double click on IMVU, double click on http cache, hit control A on ur keyboard to highlight all the shit in there, click on delete and once its done clear the trash bin.

I understand completely. However, you can't do that while IMVU is still running; you have to close it first and then delete the cache.

What I mean is, I want to find a way to make the IMVU Classic Client capable of running with more than 3.5GB of RAM usage.

Yes, there's a 4GB limit for 32-bit applications running on a 64-bit OS. Is there any way to surpass this limitation?

most likely either a cache issue or maybe a missing update

This a complicated and technical question to answer so I'm just going to say that you're mostly correct, there's not much you can do to force the client to use more ram.

The cache has nothing to do with the memory limitations. Depending on how the cache is implemented though, it could be the cause of high memory usage.

I think the better question is why is your client using that much memory in the first place. What are you loading? What does your system resource usage look like and how much of it is going to the IMVUClient process? What are your virtual memory setting?

It seems that someone, or a group of individuals, is exploiting a vulnerability in the IMVU Classic Client (IMVU Classic Memory Limitation) for their personal gain, causing disruptions for others. By 'disruption,' I mean they are utilizing a product that rapidly maxes out the RAM usage of the IMVU Classic Client application (3.5GB) within an incredibly short time frame (approximately 1-2 minutes). Subsequently, anyone in the room experiences an Error Code 8 (Crash), and this product can also lead to 100% GPU usage for the IMVU Classic Client application. Both of these factors can be highly disruptive, causing severe lag in the IMVU Classic Client. Those affected have limited options, primarily closing the IMVU Classic Client through the Task Manager and clearing the cache to mitigate the issue. Additionally, you might argue that simply ending the process and starting over is a viable solution. However, this process consumes a significant amount of time for me as a creator. Why does it consume time? It's because I often find myself affected by issues like these while in the midst of creating 12 products, only to have them crash due to this problem.

You might also suggest, 'Why not use IMVU Studio or IMVU Desktop Beta?' Well, my intention is not to avoid the issue but rather to address it. I want to confront and resolve it rather than sidestep it. These disruptions hinder my creative workflow and impact my productivity, which is why finding a solution within the IMVU Classic Client is essential for me at least.

Do you have any information this product? Have you tried muting the individuals with IMVULite? Curious to see if that prevents the product from being loaded.

You can try using Large Address aware (https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/large-address-aware.112556/) but I doubt it help much since it only raises the limit to 4gb and you said it can go up to 3.5gb so I assume it'll go up to 4gb too.

Your IMVU client logs should tell you who the culprit is and what product(s) they are using.

I believe the type of crash code you are describing is called a "Gundam", named after the giant robots. The first RAM exhaustion crash codes on IMVU were pet type products, using outrageously large 3D models of gundams. Thus the name, Gundam.
