Hello, I am really desperate right now and my account just got h4c|<7d. This has never happened to me before and I don't know what to do. My dad has spent quite a bit of money on my account for me and I come from a poor family so I wouldn't really know too much about being rich. I... Before I got h4c|<7d thus girl said she wanted to be my friend and I said okay and she wanted me to join her group thing. I clicked on the link and it had an imvu thing, making me log in. Another page loaded and it was a blank page. I was confused and I put my chrome book away and went to go on my phone and read. after half an hour or so, I had went to go play imvu on mobile and I realized that I couldn't log in with my email address so I tried my username. That didn't seem to work either. I typed up the forgot password and I typed in my email and it says that my email was never in the system. I created a new account with the email and I looked up my old account, it was found so easily. I had completely thought that my account would be terminated. I don't know what to do, please help me, I'm legitimately crying. All love - Mira

Calling them won;t always work . Since they only "usually" talk about billing issues .
Best way is to file a help ticket then you can get into more detail than you can on the phone .

Actually it really is a waste calling them since the can and most likely will drop the phone on you . I have seen this happen mane times . Just because it doesn't happen 100 percent of the time does not mean that this is the correct way of doing it .
I can speak from close and personal experience having been on the imvu forums for a long time . I have seen mane cases where they just drop the phone on you . Especially if you do not live in the states it will be rather expencive for you to call them directly .
So to aoid being a dropped call and getting a better chance at getting a call back i advice OP to file a help ticket using the right sources . Then they will help him or her .

NEVER click links from people you don't trust, and always check to see that it is a legit IMVU link before logging in to IMVU. For your safety you should always have the IMVU login screen saved, so that if you ever get a link thats sends you to an IMVU login screen, you can double check to see if its the correct URL.

With that being said: Try every option, calling is not to be excluded if you can call. I personally have had a ton of success with account problems just by calling. Its all in the way you talk to them I suppose. Don't yell at them and be rude, it will only make them be rude right back.

If by chance that calling doesn't work, set up a new account and file a help ticket, sending them these things:

REAL NAME ON THE ACCOUNT
ORIGINAL EMAIL FOR THE ACCOUNT
D.O.B ON THE ACCOUNT
WHAT AREA YOU CREATED THE ACCOUNT THE ACCOUNT IN : State/province/ address, those sorta things.
THE CREDIT CARD NUMBER - from the card that was used on the account.

And ofc telling them that your account was h4c|< by phishing.

Usually if you can provide all these things on a legit good account, they will send you a password reset to get your account back.

That's the problem my dad is three hours away and even if hell froze over and I asked him for his credit card, he would freak out at at me and get mad. When I asked him to buy credits he was so hesitant. He lost his job and I don't think he wants to waste anymore money on a video game again it was just for my birthday.

without the entire info that other users posted in here there is nothing you or anybody else can do for you

sometimes we have trouble recovering an account even with the info so you need

name the acc was registered under
date of birth used on an account
location you were in when creating the account ( country\ state \ city)
original email you made the account with
last 4 digits of the credit card used on the account ( this is the most important one)
sometimes they even request a copy of your gouvernment id ( if your account has ap)

so without any of this info there isnt anything you can do. sorry about that
