two weeks ago I was invited to a chatroom "Hck" by the owner, someone i have never spoken to before or interacted with at all on my 9 years at IMVU. As I entered the room HCK he was incredibly polite and we started talking.
10 minutes into the interactions he asked if I would send him a nude picture of myself and i politely replied no, as I do not know who this person is or do I send any pictures of those kinds over the internet to strangers I do not know. His reply to my refusal was "hold on watch this" I then become unable to access my account, with my email being changed and my passwords reset.
He then continued to harass me on my alt, until he too took that account because I continued to refuse to expose myself on camera.
The owner of "Hck" is a toxic person and just recently today I discussed with two other accounts that they have either had this happen to them, or have had it happen to one of their friends BY THE SAME USER.
This user FTH is very active in the community, he has a store, with very crappy developed hair. He claims to be russian, however no one believes that since he goes by DAVE.
I have contacted IMVU about this user, I have contacted them about him having my personal information, and they have done nothing to protect me or anyone else.
This user is known for blackmailing women to expose themselves for their accounts back, and or to be left alone.
refusal is not an option and it has been TWO WEEKS since I began to fight for my accounts back.
Who knows how many women he has harassed. How many accounts he has stolen.
IMVU is refusing to do anything to this man and he is still allowed to freely use their system and their servers.
This is NOT okay.
