Can you see me now? Bad? Desktop Beta and T3 PIDs

Im a new user of the T3DE client. Like with any new toy you want to play with it to see how it works. While installing the T3 and setting up the batch file I did some testing to see how loading pids and viewing in different browsers worked. How i understand it is T3 pid loads cant be seen by any other browser (deep client, regular client). This worked flawlessly and as advertised. Since my friend referred me to this site I loaded a pid of a lion in my room on T3 just so they know i have the client now. I decided to install the regular client and add to my batch file, while downloading it I noticed imvu has a new version called IMVU Desktop Beta. This version is basically what IMVU next is on the website or if you have the imvu mobile app but is an app that can be installed on your computer. I installed it to see what it was like and went to my room with my other account, I WAS ABLE TO SEE THE LION!! I don't know if this is a fluke or what. I think the Imvu desktop beta is build on HTML5 components but i haven't did any deep digging as it was late when i discovered this. Im going to try to recreate this tonight but wanted to ask

is this bad? How could this affect us T3 users going forward?

Hello G!! So glad i finally caught you online! Thanks for inviting me here, we going to have some fun!! Im still trying to recreate this but what i did was rez it before the other avi came in. So idk if its the type of product i rezzed or what. The lion i rezed was animated so idk if that had anything to do with it. I tried it with some tables but it didn work again.

Products you load in with T3DE can be seen by other people just the same as if you had bought them and loaded them. The exception to that is non published products and some disabled products.

Does that include products you do not own? Other people can see those too?

Yeah, pretty sure. There wasn't any code in the client that checks if the person loading the product owns it or not when rending a product for someone else last I checked.

Is that a new change? My friends who are non t3 users couldn't see my outfits. My shirt showed as default green avi shirt. I can't recall if it was an issue on mobile and pc or just mobile.

No, that's how it should have always worked. I can't speak to mobile though.

Well the product i loaded was something i used from the shop PIDs i did not own. I was just testing as i said. We have confirmed that this is the case. These are a couple pics that

I was just basing this thread on the fact that one of the features in T3 is for anyone that doesnt have T3 cant see PIDs loaded with T3.

3) This new feature only works for people using my T3DE. If you're in a room with other people and they don't have my T3DE they CAN'T see the product.
