Help with IMVU Desktop Beta error

Hello all. So, this error is very consistent and it happens randomly. I tracked it but I can't understand much.

Is there a way to fix this? I appreciate any help

According to my notes, northstar is the library that provides 3D navigation for rotating, zooming, moving camera in a 3D environment. Are you moving the camera around when this crash happens? Or perhaps using a product that moves the camera around?

Yes, it happens in the rooms when I move around and also when people join in. Anyway the strange thing is it also happens when I start the app and the avatar won't even load but crash at the starting page and that's very often. So it's not only in the rooms but also while the app is open and I'm not even doing anything, it will just crash with a flickering black screen that disappears immediately. Then when I try to join a room, the chat will load fine but with a white background instead of the actual room and I have to restart it.
It's bothering as heck with the IMVU Desktop Beta while the old client works good and that's what I find weird.
Could my browser affect the app and cause all of this? I tried enabling webgl options in about:flags on Chrome but that didn't fix it either.

What sort of graphics card are you using? You might try updating its drivers.

Pretty much it's up to date. Everything else works just fine but not the IMVU app which I find very weird, and on my PC it works as it should. I got an intel integrated graphics card on the laptop and that might be the reason. I read something about the webgls can cause a memory leak in certain intel integrated graphics card, so errors and glitches like these can occur. Also the IMVU app was working fine before I updated it. Probably it's an error/bug in the integrated graphics card that happened due to their updates or it's both ways.
Anyways, I think it's not fixable unless a miracale happens with a new IMVU update and then it might fix itself.

Oh, I wanted to ask a question if you know if there is a way to mess with the resolution settings somehow via code or anything? Because there isn't an option for that.

That's normally taken care of by your graphics card driver / software. If there is something in the code for it ... I have not found it yet.
