Need help with regards to my imvu account, since i just received that someone tried to log in and my email sent a 2fa verification code, i resetted my password but i wanna make sure that its safer now

I do not know how they got my password and email, i just got a sudden email that it asks for my 2fa code

If your computer is running Windows, run a malware scan with Windows Defender. Make sure your computer has not been infected.

Windows defender is part of Windows. Everyone with windows has it. It is the built-in anti-virus that comes with Windows.

i just scanned my pc with it, and it seems there was no problems, hopefully its safe now

Ok here’s what to do. First: check to make sure that your password is complicated and hard to copy. Next, I would set up an account verification to your phone instead of email. Other than that there isn’t much you can do sadly.
