Re-install IMVU: https://www.imvu.com/download.php
Then login and complete the new user tutorial to unlock the the modes.
Logout and re-install whatever client mods you plan on using: IMVU-Lite, Deep Client, T3DE, etc ...

Hmmm maybe I'm doing it wrong, uninstalled the imvu and the Deep client incase and repeated in the order mentioned. Nothing, cleared the cache incase, still not able to unlock the other things. Created a new account and opened up the regular client, everything works perfectly. Reinstalled the client, and opened it up. The other selections are locked out. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I did the same thing I did today as yesterday and it's working again. May have to do something their latest update??? Idk but thankyou for helping regardless!!
