Hall of Fame is meant to recognize those that have gone over and above the call of duty, so to speak. That doesn't necessarily mean the older generation, but unfortunately they tend to be the ones that have done that, with the odd exception of a newer member. If you start to just let anyone in simply to 'recognize' them, even though they may not meet the typical criteria of eligibility, then you completely defeat the purpose of the Hall of Fame and then, at that point, you might as well just change the name to 'Member of the Month'. I agree that we should stay within the boundaries of what this truly is meant for and, for the others that are on the lower rungs of the ladder making their way up, have something different to recognize them.
