Fx use to be better for coding...back when it was the only browser with an error checking dev mode built in, but they added that to IE in IE 8.
Yes, Fx does load pages about 20% faster, but that is only when you configure Fx correctly...and do not configure IE at all. We have a thread here on configuring IE to run just a fast as Fx:
viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2103Also, IE is integrating into your computer's filing system; you use it every-time you open a folder...so unlike Fx, you do not have to wait for it to start up; it pops up instantly because your computer is always running part of it.
