hmmmm i was wondering don since im running a station also i noticed for some reason my firefox will not play my station yet my ie will is this because of some script firefox dosnt run bc most people actually use firefox now

No, most people do not run Fx. IE still owns 55% of the market and mozilla is only 30% (note, not all mozilla browsers are Fx...so it is unclear on how many of the 30% actualy use Fx). Fx seems to be the only browser unable to view IMVUfm stations, so...we are still good with at least 70% of users.

Fx does not run embedded windows media players due to several bugs and incompatibilities in Fx with valid scripts. I tried to re-script an alternative script for Fx using sound tags..., but the stupid mother foxer does not understand those either. If you can apply a band-aid to this, I am more than willing to add the code to our site.

well that is some major bull i love my firefox v.v but ie is cool to just don't have as many addons

Top 10 IE add-ons: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/top-11-mus ... er-addons/

My favorite IE addon: http://adblockie.codeplex.com/ & http://www.adblockpro.com/

IE IMVU Mafias' addon: http://imvumafias.loyaltytoolbar.com/

Most ad-dons for Fx have an IE equivalence.

Search google for "IE addons", and you will get way more hits than if you google "firefox addons". If anything, IE has more addons than Fx. :lol:

Fx use to be better for coding...back when it was the only browser with an error checking dev mode built in, but they added that to IE in IE 8.

Yes, Fx does load pages about 20% faster, but that is only when you configure Fx correctly...and do not configure IE at all. We have a thread here on configuring IE to run just a fast as Fx: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2103

Also, IE is integrating into your computer's filing system; you use it every-time you open a folder...so unlike Fx, you do not have to wait for it to start up; it pops up instantly because your computer is always running part of it.
