Horror and gory games

I'm a big fan of horror and gory games, and I was wondering what are your favourite ones? I've been wanting to buy one myself, but can't seem to find a good game, especially for PC.

Dead Space is the goriest and most horrifying game made to date, if this game doesnt scare you, then you are a very brave person, this is one of those games you buy and brag to all your friends about how much your not afraid of it, then run home and play it with the door open and lights on ^^

i hang with gamers alot. all my friends like to play resident evil and such. i forgot the names to the other game ??_??

Well, I was playing it some months ago, and I think FPS like Doom 3 or FEAR are more horrifying... But that's my personal opinion, it's still a nice horror game :razz:

Thanks for the list, now that you mention it Doom and FEAR are pretty scary games, But something about DeadSpace really grabbed me by the balls and took the fear out of me (weird way of putting it but bear with me XD) but I guess its just me, the game freaked me right the hell out XD
