The Powerful Truth (Poem)

This penmanship is worth more than gold,
It is about what we do not comprehend,
Inside the outside of our lives is where the real story is told.
We’ve become so egotistic about what we think we know,
However, its is not about you nor I…
Its about all as a whole, and how together we grow.
All the material possessions, so close we hold…
It is all an illusion, that will vanish in due time,
Remember all that glitters is not gold.
We do less than we should,
Unless we do all that we can,
We stand for less than the greater good.
The power of imagination makes us infinite,
Every artist is first an amateur,
Allow enthusiasm to become more than just a favorite.
The best way to prepare for life, is to begin to live.
Life is to short,
The first thing that you must do is learn to forgive.
As you look at your life, stepping back seeing that you created a mess,
You see something that you forgotten long ago,
Impatience never commanded success.
Living in a fast paced life just to get to the top,
Expecting it to rush with you…
When it doesn’t matter how slow you go, as long as you do not stop.
Our minds are as different as our faces you know,
We are all traveling to destination happiness, but few go by the same road,
It’s the will to be happy that keeps us from being hollow.
I like the dreams of the future better then the history of the past,
A REAL LEADER HAS NO NEED TO LEAD, BUT IS CONTENT TO POINT THE WAY!!!
This you must remember so that our futures are vast.
Above all love, like truth and inner beauty, is concrete,
The love we give away is the only love we keep,
It above ALL is how we avoid defeat.
