I was planning on selling one of my accounts, and I'd like for the person who buys it to transfer the credits to another account of mine but I've been reading some people on Imvu have been disabled after recieving credits (and being reported I guess?) and I'd like to know if there's some way to protect yourself from this :$

Just make a guest account have them send the credits to a guest account then you file a help ticket saying you wanna transfer blah blah amount of credits to the account you really want the credits to be on.

I'm confused. Do you mean you want them to send the payment to another account, or to send your credits from the account that you're selling to another account?

If the latter, just send your credits to your own account? I hope this wasn't what you were asking lol.

If the first, have them send payment before giving them the un and pw. I've transferred hundreds of thousands of credits and have sold much artwork through the gift credit option, you should be fine. The dangerous part is making sure you receive payment first. If you give them the account first, you are at the mercy of the customer up until you receive payment, as IMVU will not help with a stolen account.


**side note/off topic: "plundered" instead of "s.t.o.l.e.n."? Interesting use of the word filter if I must say so myself..

You've heard wrong (as far as I know). There's no way they'd just randomly suspect you to have negociated on the base of an account. Just go with it.
You could also suggest the buyer to include a message along with the credits, something like: "Happy birthday, kiddo!"

Thank you everyone for your answers :D I'll just make it transfer to an alt account and from there I'll transfer it to my main account
