This is a WIP tool that lets you view any giftable badges someone has displayed on their homepage. Simply put in someone's avatar name at the end of the url and you can see the badges presented to you as images.

Url: https://www.imvumafias.org/staff/datamine/wo ... hp?avatar=

Example: https://www.imvumafias.org/staff/datamine/wo ... tar=ddrum1

Eventually, I plan on adding more to it such as badge descriptions, a link badge to the hp to grab the badge and of course styling.

But for now, it's on the back-burner while I create the downloads/tools page things like this will be hosted on.

Thanks, feel free to post any suggestions for this tool. I tend to take a lot of breaks and work on other projects while redesigning the tools/downloads page.

Am I doing something wrong here? I tried this with avatar Poisonouz, and it says "NO BADGES" but if you go to her page, there's 4 badges for the taking.

probably because they have their HP set to AP so the script hits the landing page instead. I'll have to see if there's a way around that.

I read that the other day, wasn't sure I wanted to provide my osCsid in my programs for security reasons. Though with the php script, no should ever see it...

Not sure I want to risk my ap account though. I'll have to think about it.

I suppose it matters who besides you has direct access to the PHP content on this site. I have sole access to triggerless.com, so I'm not worried about using mine. It might be different in your situation. If other members have read access directly to this server, I'd avoid it, too.

Also, I set the User-Agent HTTP header on my scripts to a valid web browser, just in case.

The only person who'd have access to the server besides me would be
@Don Von Free Credits
, he's the only other admin.

For now I'm gonna hold off on it. I'm not sure yet if this tool is valuable enough to put more development time into when there are more important projects to finish first.

I went into a room the other day,and one of the women of the rooms screams..."shes been here 5years and no badges". i was speechless because...i have been in imvu for 5years,but I'm clueless to everything there. she called me a spy,and said my account was fake because i didn't have badges.

Will someone please explain them to me?
what good are they?
what can i do with them?
are they something i should consider getting?
