Opacity maps are images, and are treated the same by the software as other textures. They will end up with the other textures if the chkn has one. Keep in mind, this in not a ripper. This is an extractor. It only works on assets that are actually inside of the chkn, not on the parent's assets. If you want opacities that belong to the parent products / derive chain, then you need a ripper:
